Group Classes

Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned fitness guru, we have something for everyone. From traditional spin sessions and chair yoga classes to more advanced Zumba, you’ll find everything you need at Spring Mill Athletic Club. No matter your goal, our instructors deliver a unique program that offers the best solutions for your fitness.

Personal training

Step up your fitness program with personal training at Spring Mill Athletic Club. New members and those interested in making an appointment with one of our trainers will receive a complimentary orientation.

We focus on helping you set and achieve your goals. Our trainers are certified professionals and have the flexibility to implement a program for all fitness levels. We customize workouts for each specific individual so you get the most from your training.

Silver Sneakers

One in every five people are eligible for a Silver Sneakers® membership, offered at no cost through your health care plan. Provided through Medicare Advantage or your Medicare Supplement Health plan, this active wellness program includes cardio and weight equipment or group classes with other seniors.

 

Group Classes

No matter your goal, our instructors deliver a unique program that offers the best solutions for your fitness. Some classes may be subject to additional fees.

Chair Yoga & Pilates

Burn fat and sculpt lean muscles through these classes. Shape your muscles and tone your physique for added body control and flexibility with Pilates and chair yoga. Our club has experienced and certified instructors that create an environment where you feel relaxed and welcome. Focus on strengthening your core and protecting your body with the stretches and exercises you’ll experience in the chair yoga and Pilates classes available at Spring Mill.

Spin and Zumba Classes

Indoor cycling and calorie-burning dance are high-energy cardio workouts that tone your body. Work a number of muscle groups in a spin or Zumba class. In a group fitness spin or Zumba class, you won’t even feel like you’ve been working out. Spin focuses on high intensity and strength training with a stationary bicycle. Zumba takes on all elements of fitness, boosting your energy through balance and flexibility, cardio and muscle conditioning. Music will be playing in each class to keep you motivated in the group fitness setting.

Muscle Blast Classes

Take your fitness to the next level with Muscle Blast classes. We help you on your quest to improve your heart function and muscle mass while targeting the functional movement of your body through muscle blast classes. The best strength and conditioning group classes are right here at the SMAC. They are constantly changing every session to deliver you a unique experience. Indulge in the high intensity of muscle blast by using a combination of running, weightlifting, cardio, and gymnastics.  We make you feel at home during each session, enhancing your fitness and building your stamina.

Personal Training

At Spring Mill Athletic Club, we sit with you to understand your goals and develop a plan to achieve them. Your fitness assessment provides a baseline to chart progress, and you’ll have a trial workout to see how a trainer can push the limits.

We use the latest techniques and exercise methods that align with your style and personality. Your trainer will provide you with realistic fitness targets, offering advice on health outside of the club. We’ll guide you on nutrition, wellness, and recovery to enhance the workout results.

Silver Sneakers

These classes provide a non-intimidating environment where you can meet other members who share similar health goals. Designed to be easy on the joints, you’ll increase strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility by utilizing elastic bands, balls, and weights.

There are no maximum or minimum visit requirements when enrolling at the SMAC through the Silver Sneakers® fitness program.

Introducing a brand new class!

Dance and rhythmic movements to music is an aerobic activity that helps improve endurance, cardiovascular health balance, coordination, movement, memory, and pain. Listen to music as we guide you through dance styles from many cultures and every decade. Seated and standing options are available for all levels and abilities. Partners welcome.

Beneficial for patients being treated for Parkinson’s Disease, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, or any movement challenges.

Muscle Monday

Muscle Monday involves the performance of physical exercises designed to improve strength and endurance. Muscle Monday trains the muscles to keep strong, and we will be working on different muscles every Monday.

Silver Sneakers Classic

A fun filled Low Impact Class designed to challenge the active adult. Enjoy a variety of exercises to improve balance, coordination & overall fitness.

Spin Express

Get into the zone! Nonimpact indoor cycle class. Great efficient workout, for cross trainers and beginners. Super cardio cycling experience energized with fun music, peaked by instructors and riders.

Spin

Nonimpact indoor cycle class. Heart rate monitors are suggested. Super cardio cycling experience energized with fun music, peaked by instructors and riders. Includes 30-minute introduction on Pilates reformer machines

Reformer

Experience the Pilates Reformer machine, a piece of equipment that provides resistance with a series of springs and ropes. It will improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and stability, with focus on stretching and strengthening the muscles of the body. An efficient total body workout in a small group setting.

Zumba

It’s the type of exercise you want to do every day and feel good doing it. Easy to follow (Hypnotic Latin rhythmic) moves that are dynamic, exciting, and effective for everyone.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is restorative and supportive. Chair Yoga increases flexibility, strength, and body awareness. When standing poses are included in chair yoga the chair is used to help improve balance.

Zumba Gold

Provides an appropriate workout for those just beginning. It’s the type of exercise you want to do every day and feel good doing it. It’s incredibly fun with easy to modified movements. Improves balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular strength with it’s unique Latin dance steps moving millions of people towards joy and health.

Muscle Blast

Keep your muscles guessing – with total body part blasts! Instructor led class, teaching you the correct way to truly isolate and work your muscles to get the results you want in a fun group setting.

Move – A higher-intensity workout class that improves cardio and burns calories.
